This is my second netbook and very impressed. Most of these netbooks are very similar to the results and the choice is really personal preference. A couple of things I like;
– Touch Pad is a "boom" a good surface
– Keyboard layout is ideal for typists (my other netbook is good, but it makes me mad right Shift key is smaller and travel)
– The display is clear and can be adjusted easily to improve the lives Battery
– As mentioned in other reviews, Autonomy is great
– The most important thing for me was the ease access memory and hard drive. This netbook has two input ports in the bottom, then you can increase the memory or hard drive without to be completely independent (as opposed to new models Asus)
I upgraded the memory and 80G SSD 2G. Never go competition or laptop loaded, but it is quite possible (netbooks) and ease of working with MS Office.
The only thing not cause a problem with the AC adapter. This is a relatively large contact and fits into tight places (like some of the counters facilities Accommodation in the rooms). However, this is a minor inconvenience.
In general, this is a netbook great and plan to buy one of the family members.

I have version XP, because the idea of win7 it "boot" makes me angry. But in particular, the possibility of extending the desktop to another monitor (without paid upgrade) is a major drawback for a device with a screen 10 inches. The unit was packed in the box to know the handle and came a day before with no sign of mismanagement. Unpacking and setting up the unit was simple. The screen is clear and bright, and very strong. I had no problem working with small text and graphics. Do not hate chicklet keyboard "fine". It seems that I only use four fingers, but the speed and the absence of typographical errors than usual.
XP recognized all the devices in the home, including two printers Gun, an imitation Chinese portable DVD player, and several mice, keyboards and monitors. With the mouse, keyboard and Cheap 17-inch monitor, this netbook is a replacement office more powerful and useful than any laptop I had. Unplug everything and is a great laptop – Less than half the price.
Only objection is that I'm not a player, so no comments. The video and sound systems are very good at what I do. Before he recognized my old shit 17 "monitor for the coward he is, offered me some options to solve the large pixel size.

The Acer Aspire One 532h is sold in several versions, with some suppliers, such as Costco, which has unique versions. The main differences are 160 hard drives from 250 GB hard drive, and "regular" six long battery life compared to six batteries. All current versions should be equipped with Windows 7, rather than the older versions of Windows XP.
I bought the Costco version, which comes with a warranty of two years instead of the one-year warranty, a 160GB hard drive and long battery life. I have often been able to get 8:00 to 9:00 for use before needing to recharge the battery. The ultra-lightweight body and slim 532h it is easy to carry in my briefcase all day.
When I stop for a coffee, quickly identify the wireless Internet access available. I use it mainly for e-holders and new electronic control. However, although the keyboard is a bit tight after a certain time to adapt, write shorter documents is not difficult. The screen is sharp and easy to read.
The battery and charger is smaller and lighter than usual, take therefore a weekend is not a burden. If the battery is completely discharged, fully recharge in two to four hours, depending on whether you use the computer during loading.
When I have a connection speed Internet (1.3 Mbps or higher) of the 532H will play TV shows on Hulu without problems, but it is sometimes necessary to pause the show for a few minutes for the buffer is full.
Using Task Manager Windows to monitor CPU usage and memory usage indicates that the memory usage peaks at 700 MB to 800 MB with eight or ten tabs browser open, and the execution of another program, such as Pandora music listening or watching a TV show on Hulu. I think a program like Photoshop would be very slow with only one GB of memory though. The CPU time limit of 100% load, which indicates that the processor, memory 1 GB is the main cause of the computer running slowly for some tasks.
There is no reason to upgrade to two GB of RAM if you use Aspire for e-mail, view news, listen to music or watching videos on Hulu. I bought a reader Mini-DVD movies so that I can. Windows Media Player, there was a great picture but no sound. I downloaded the free VLC video, films, and then played very well, nice stereo sound. Then I tried the new Windows Media Player, and also play DVD movies with sound … I guess when I downloaded VLC video player, which includes an audio codec that Windows 7 was missing.
If you go away for a few weeks Aspire charger and a mini-DVD player give me a complete information system that weighs less than a total of £ 5 … light enough to keep with you all day. People laughed for ten years, if you say one day be able to buy a computer that weighs less than three pounds and costs less than $ 300. A godsend.
